We work to ensure that internally displaced persons (IDPs) have equitable access to life-saving humanitarian assistance and protection services, with a strong focus on dignity, safety, and inclusion within displacement camps. AMARD supports coordinated service delivery by identifying priority needs, strengthening referral mechanisms, and improving access to essential services such as shelter, water, sanitation, health, and protection for vulnerable households.
In displaced camps, we promote participatory and community-led approaches that empower IDPs to take an active role in decision-making processes affecting their lives. By enhancing camp management structures, supporting protection monitoring, and fostering accountability, AMARD contributes to improved living conditions, reduced protection risks, and a higher quality of life for displaced populations living in fragile and crisis-affected environments.
